Ok My problem is solved, moral of the story: Read the package instead of trusting the dumb asses at Radio Shack to give you what you ask for.

too true i asked for a pc headset and mic a long time ago i was pretty sure it was a phone one (before i knew much at all bout comps 11/2-2 years back) and he says yep im sure its for a comp i go home to check nope dont fit
