Hey there, im trying this mod with a Molex drive. The problem is, how do you get the metal casing off the drive, ive unscrewed the bottom and taken off the flat metal panel, unclipped the two bits of plastic but the metal casing is stuck, i tried pulling the facia off but that appears to be stuck on, i dont wanna snap it. I also tried pulling the casing but that appears to be stuck down because of the facia, the back end goes up but the facia end is stuck. Have i missed something stupid ?
 Sorry to sound like a complete noob.

Ok Ive sorted it, i didn't realize you had to pop the emergency release button on the front of the drive. It was locked shut, once i did that, it all popped open. Gonna pick up my soldering iron off my friend tomorrow and ill get modding!
Ill post the results once Ive completed it.

I'm going to be ordering some small speakers from mouser electronics soon. I will just get some resistors from there too. 10 resistors for 40 cents is good right?
