1/4W 5% Carbon Film Resistors 1.5Kohms
Right ones? Those were the cheapest ones i could find. I will be using 30 AWG wire because that is the only kind I have right now.

Just tried this on my old Samsung and it works but the LEDs are very dim... I used a 1.5k ohm resistor and 3x 3mm blue LEDs. Here's the pics.

Yeah, mine are kinda dim - but I upgraded to bigger LEDs to make em brighter.

nice mod.
use more light (the brighter the better) in your pics and your camera will have an easier time snapping the shutter real fast. it will help you avoid that drunk goggles effect. i usually just take a clamp-on work light with a high wattage flourescant bulb and cram it right on in the pic. gives it that mad-scientist look too.
