Oh, well they make a notebook version too. I'm pretty sure it almost HAS to be a OCZ equalizer...it has the triple threat button.(that red button on the click) The DPI setting, and I'm going to ASSUME that the scroll wheel changes color with the DPI setting correct?
OCZ Equalizer

yup thats it pretty much. its originally made by A4tech as someone else here said.. that mouse has some really crappy drivers though but it was free...cant argue with that

as for why it isnt super shiny...im poor... i cant use that much clear coat it is still enough for it to be 80% reflective but to get 90%+ i need a spray gun and lots of rubbing compound/wax (none of which i have but one of which im getting soon check back over the summer...im going to airbrush my entire laptop along somewhat the same theme)

I own two A4techs (x710 and x750bf). The 710 I've owned for over 2 years and is my regular mouse, and the 750bf for nearly a year. They've been thrown, stepped on, and yanked out of ports, and they're still going strong; as far as breaking it, I don't think you have anything to worry about. My damn Diamondback only lasted 6 months before it started restarting my rig, and then died completely.

I find the thin wire as a benefit, since it doesn't 'weigh down' or constrict the mouse to a certain area.
