Default Need help with converting movies so I can upload

So i made a 3:30 minute video when I did the dipping. I need to know how to convert the default .mov file to something more acceptable and embed it here. Can i just use youtube for that?

This may work great, this may not work at all. It may work but just look like crap. I am going to get a can of the actual dip and a can of the spray Plasti-dip.
