Default is there any way to change color scheme on mobo?

I love this mobo but the color scheme is kind.. ewh. Is there any way I can safely paint over the plastic UV parts or at least lower the luminosity of it under UV cathodes at least?

If you mean paint the motherboard itself, then absolutely not, I wouldn't risk it. It would probably be possible to paint over some LED's, but I seriously doubt that theres anyway you could paint over the motherboard or any slots on it. I don't know about your luminosity question though, I would pursue that route and leave the paint where it is. Not to mention paint would probably ruin your warranty

if you dont like the LED's, put electrical tape over them. DO NOT PAINT. even with lead free paint its sure to still be conductive.

or you could set an example of why not to paint a mobo

Well, you could use UV markers, pens or something to colour them in with a colour that you like.

I don't see any problem with painting parts of the motherboard as long as you don't get any paint into the actual slot where the pins are and you are using a non-conductive paint (A.C.Ryan makes UV reactive paints). The traces on the motherboard are all covered with a solder mask; so the only places where there would be a chance of shorting things out would be at existing solder pads on the motherboard, but with a non-conductive paint this is a non-issue unless you get paint into the actual connectors for the RAM/ad-in cards (PCI, PCI-e, ...).

I know there use to be covers for things like the PCI and RAM slots...
Can't find any ATM but if you can and don't like the colors, paint them and pop them on.
