Well, I have a Sony SDM-M51 TFT LCD Monitor. I gutted the power supply to fix my lappy's (it was a Dell charger...), and it's just sitting on my desk, looking plain and gray. Well, the other day, I got an Idea while I was looking at it:
Turn it into a TFT LCD touchscreen keyboard. This is kinda of a good idea in a couple of ways:
Firstly, I need to figure out how big the screen is. I know it can use up to 1024x800 resolution, and I think I remember it as a 15", but I'm not sure. Secondly, I need to rig/make/buy a new power supply for it. I can damn near use my Lappy's charger, minus the fact the Lappy's charger's end is a little to wide. Thirdly, find a touchscreen and rig it into the monitor. I would really like a multi-touch, but I'll use what I get. Lastly, get a VGA cable. I gave mine to someone because his was chewed up by his dog. There is really no use for it, but it'll be cool. --Hh2

I have a spare 20" Phillips that i could do it with, and embed it in my desk.

Well, after a little Googling, I found this:
15.1" Built-in Touchscreen Charger I need If I do go this route, I'm going to try and get the mini controller board so I can put it inside the monitor. I'm also most likely going to need to mod the screen a little bit to fit the touch screen (since it needs at least 2.2mm to fit) and a hole for the USB cable. So, once I get an extra $210 (which isn't any time soon, unless someone wants to buy my old YuGiOh deck and other useless crud I have lying around off me), I'm dreaming of it. This is, of course, if no one has any of this lying around
