it looks like you've wired up the LEDs/resistors as a single series string; this will not work with a 5V supply since most LEDs require 2V. I'd run it as 2 parallel strings with +5v -> R -> LED1 -> LED2 -> Gnd

Ad radodrill said, you did not wire them as they're shown in the diagram. You've wired everything in series. I'm assuming you have resistors in those tape bundles near the molex connector. I'm also assuming you used two 56 ohm resistors, resulting in 112 ohms of resistance in the circuit.
Do us a favour and post the specs of your LED's. It'll take 5 minutes to make you a fool proof schematic that can't fail.

Here's what one side of your diagram should look like:
__________________![]() Since you're wiring them in parallel, you just duplicate it for the other side, so that they meet up with the 5v and the ground wires. (The red-orange wires are 5v and ground, respectively.) Edit: There's a small mistake in my picture where the wires don't actually connect.

Alright, your LED's are rated for 2V and 30 mA. Using those 56 ohm resistors, you'd only be getting roughly 18 mA with a 5V supply. Depending on the LED type, that may not turn it on.
The LED's will have a constant voltage drop across them of 2V. In each branch (these definitely will not work with 4 in series on 5V) you have 2 LED, dropping 2V on each diode. You then have a 1V drop across your current limiting resistor, and in order to get 30mA in each branch, the resistors should be 1/0.030 = 33.3 ohms. You should be able to find 33 ohm resistors in any bargain pack. Just make sure you wire them in the same configuration as the drawing you posted before. If you want them to be brighter, you can go with a lower value resistor down to 6.25 ohms where you'll reach the peak current for the LED's.
