Default Making monitor mounts...

I was going to attempt to make a monitor mount for my 22" and 19", but where would I begin? Are those four holes on the backs of monitors where you would put the mounts you buy at or what?

Anyone got any advice on what kind of materials I should use and all? I have no metal saws, so would wood be strong enough or no?

You could possibly get a sheet of metal and cut it according to those holes and get some more pieces cut to function as arms for the mount.

The name of the mount most if not all monitors use is called a VESA mount.

Im sure they have templates for them on the interwebs somewhere

the 4 threaded holes on the backs of monitors are for the VESA mount; the 2 standard hole spacings are 75mm and 100mm (measured horizontally/vertically)
