Lightbulb Random Acts of Modding.. A mini series
Ok well I started with "just swapping out GPUs" to now.. "watercooling GPUs" then its moved to "lets just upgrade the hard drives too" then I "upgraded the RAID card" and now I'm adding things to my watercooling loop.. then I added a "couple of hard drives" and now im modding my desk. Jesus. Lets make a god damn story out of this!


For now, this "series" will be just posts of random pictures, descriptions of what happened to my computer, and maybe some accidentally my computer, etc. The first post will be just some text and stuff, post #2 will be my Table of Contents Links (direct links to posts of updates) and after that, whatever comes next!

This was the original plan. I bought these two cool little things.

Coming to my senses, I enjoyed this part... I installed the waterblock with the backplate on... Since the provided spacers I got were too big I used the backplate as a smaller "spacer"



Test fitting / looking to see



Okay well here I stand looking at the 2nd GPU block I purchased. One had a clear top, the other had a BLACK top?!? Whatever, FrozenCPU is taking care of it.. In the mean time.....



What have I done here?

Replaced the TIM with IC7 compound, the SB got some generic crap since I ran out of IC7 lol...

On to something else...



I empty my case for preparation.....




PSST: I got a new desk and side-table! I love this new setup!

That is indeed a Razer Lycosa

Updates on hold for today, all I got in the mail today was some Novus cleaning stuff, Feser Water dye, and my PCI bracket for my video card (single slot GTX 285)

That and I got a girl comin over so I had to pack up the work station and make things look more acceptable
