I got bored of the plane black on my G81 keyboard, and VCheeZ wanted us to mod them. Well I started today



The Paint I chose, Works well on Plastic btw if you got it sanded down well


Sand paper pack for 3$


First sanding




I did do another sand down also, didn't take pictures of that. It got boring

Now to the Spraying part...





Will updated as I go along. I could maybe have it together tonight, but highly doubtful

Thanks, I'm going to respray soon here...the waiting time too dry is killing me. It's 90f in my dad's garage so the heat is helping with the drying process.

ALSO, if there is enough voltage coming through the keyboard, I may hook up some LED's too spread across the keys

Nice.. BUT did you use adhesion promoter?? Did you clear coat?? That duplicolor paint is good stuff, its what I use to paint aswell. Bonds really good to plastic, but even better with adhesion promoter (on plastics). Clear coat is a must really... if you didn't clear it then take it back apart, wipe it with wax and grease remover and give it a couple thin coats of clear
