Here's an idea, instead of a fan inside the mouse, what about a vertical fan in front of the mouse, perhaps attached to the mouse pad?

ive seen xbox controllers with fans in them, and there nice to play with
anyone seen a air cooled mouse...Ill make the first...im really board

i fuirged out that it would be a 40mmx40mmx10mm fan tiny

how many mA does a $10 logitec mouse use?
usb's put out about 5-5.5v @ 400mA
