Default Looking to sleeve my PSU cables and fan wires

Hi, I'm looking into sleeving my PSU and I'm getting this kit. http://www.murdermod.com/sleeving-ki...-sociopack.htm

My question is, should I put two wires that are adjacent to one another in one sleeve, or put a sleeve on each wire by itself?

Hi.

That is a subjective question, imho. I would go for single-sleeving.

That aside, one of the factors involved will be the diameter of the sleeving. If it is overly large for a single wire, then I would use 2 so that you don't get the "bloated" wire look.

I did both. for my PCI-E 6 pins I did them in pairs because otherwise it's just a lot of wires running through the case. For my 24 pin I did them individually because I wanted them to look like a lot of sleeved cables.

doubled up:

My 24pin and modular PSU adapters are individual. Sorry, I still have to get some macro shots of them:

I've seen the PCI-E 6 pins done as a group with a larger diameter sleeve and it looks sexy too. Here's a link:

http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/sys.../murderbox.htm

You can see he does both individual and groups of wires. It works well together and still looks perfect.

Personally I'd sleeve in sets of 4 on things like the 24-pin mobo connection and sets of 2 on things like PCI-E 6-pin plugs etc. on 4-pin molex cables I think I'd sleeve in sets of 2 as well, with the +5v/GND in one sleeve and +12v/GND in another sleeve.

I'm thinking of doing my 24-pin with individual sleeves from the connector back about 2 or 3 inches to make it easier to bend and arrange the cables away from the motherboard. I'll then group them up into 4's with larger sleeving so I can better manage them behind the motherboard tray and back down to the power supply.

Like Syrillian said, it is rather subjective and depends on how you want your stuff to look in the end.

Sleeving the Molex in 2 sleeves looks really bad. I would only suggest that if you know it's not going to be seen. They look much better individually or all together in one larger sleeve.

I don't need to sleeve the Molex, SATA power cables, or the PCI-E cables. I'm getting the Corsair 750HX, the modular cables look fine as is, and I don't have to sleeve them. I just need to sleeve the 24pin and the 8 pin CPU wires. I also plan on sleeving my fan wires, front panel wires, and SATA cables.

I got that exact PSU for my case as well and yeah, all the power cables are already black so no need to sleeve them (unless you are that picky). The only part that could use some sleeving is the exposed wires right at the 24/8-pin connector ends so sleeving this PSU will be a lot easier than others (especially the octopus hard wired ones - ugh too many cables - Modular FTW ) On the 8-pin you can really see the yellow wires through their stock sleeving but you could always over-sleeve that with large sleeving to hide it better wherever it may still be exposed in your case.

I just recently sleeved my 850hx with murdermod sleeving and after buying the larger of the two kits, I have to say that there definitely is not enough sleeving for the powersupply.
Though I probably sleeved more cables than normal, you will be cutting it close if you get the smaller kit.
