Default Oops! (CCFL Inverter)
I wanted to remove the switch that came with my CCFL kit, and i needed to shorten the wires as well so i just clipped off the switch... but then i realized i forgot to label the wires, now I don't know which is +12V and which is GND...

on most CCFL wiring harnesses:
  • Black = Gnd
  • Yellow = +12V from PSU
  • Red = 12V to inverter
the red and yellow wires are the only ones soldered to the supplied switch.

Mine has two wires both silver with clear sheathing. Hence the problem.
