Default Power Switch for modem and Router?

Hello i was just wondering is there a way to add a power switch to my Motorola surfboard modem and my D-link Dir-625 router because sometimes my ISP has tech trouble sometimes and my internet goes out then i have to sort/untangle all my wires under my desk to restart both my router and modem, would there be a way to add in a power switch to the router and modem on the side of it to just easily restart them both?

- thanks for reading -

Two solutions:
1. Just unplug them each at the back of the device, rather than at the plug. No, it won't hurt anything.
2. Put a powerstrip on top of your desk, with those two devices plugged in. Power switch turns them both on/off at the same time.

Switch on the power strip would work.

Why would you need a 230v/10amp switch on a device that uses 12vDC/1amp?

Just to be sure!
Anyway ,yeah i forgot that the switch should be placed AFTER the the converter (dont remember the word...) so u l have like 12 volts/1amp.
Yeah use a switch like this .There wont be a huge price difference though...
