Default replace USB cord on mouse with mini male connector?
OK so my gaming mouse recently died. I have came to the conclusion it was the cord that was causing my problems. I just took it out of the mouse and tried replacing it with a mini male cord from an old ball mouse, but for some reason the computer doesnt find the mouse (though the light does glow red). Is it just not possible to switch?

the cord cant transfer different kinds of signals?Cant you buy a new chord for the mouse?

oh ok. I was under the impression that the cords were just more of a "power supply".
