Nice job, I dont even know how to sleeve cables ..
![]() Do you cut the cables and then put them in the sleeves, then solder them together again? And what's heatshrink, do you heat them up in like the oven to make them shrink? Ups, I didnt mean to hijack this thread

no you dont cut and solder. You use a tool to remove the wire ends from the plastic connector. The mesh weave is the wire sleeve, the solid nylon looking pieces at the end next to the plastic connector are heat shrink. You do not shrink it by putting in oven. You can use a hair dryer (long wait) a heat gun (recommended) a cigarette lighter (makes fingers tired) or a mini-torch (sometimes too hot and melts heat shrink) to reduce the size of the solid tubing. This causes it to hold the mesh sleeving into place.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. I heard Ford is coming out with heated bumpers in 2010 so your hands don not get cold while pushing it.
