Hi,
I NEED to mod the intellimouse 3.0 because of this problem:
I play CS1.6 and have jump bound to mouse wheel down. Since the intellimouse 3.0 has a loose mousewheel, I jump randomly which is bad. By loose I mean it doesn't sit in correctly and then later slips back in causing the jump.

I already know how to open the mouse and have done so. But i need advice on how to fix the problem.

I have already tried to fix it by:
Replacing the mouse wheel with the intellimouse 1.1 wheel. NO WORKED
Grinded the opening of the mouse wheel socket because I though the socket was too small for the mouse wheel and it was getting stuck on the sides. NW

IDK wat to try next. BTW this problem is with all intellimouse 3.0 so don't tell me to buy a new one. The one i have is brand new from frys.

Did it do this when it was new? because I'd say that it's a part in the IE3.0's that easily break.

Dunno, I could be wrong tho.
