Default Ghetto Rigged...

I made myself a ghetto rigged usb fan

Why?
Always hot near the computer vacinity *parents ***** at me for putting the thermostat at 76-77, they want it at 79... ****ing hot*

Need some cooling for my body

Materials
Usb cord from old dell mouse
2 old 80mm fans
Tape *electrical is best but i didnt have any so i used automotive tape lol *

the cord is about 5-6 ft long so yea lol pretty long

its pretty decent. not as powerfull as i was hoping. these fans were kinda ehh thats why i replaced them with some antec tricool's in my old case

it does get cold after about 5-10 mins

They aren't moving much air because the USB port can't give the fans the full 12v.

i live in tx xD

but yea i realized the usb wasnt giving enough power *dumb me*

so i took a 9v outlet thingie from an old phone hooked it up now its now WAY WAY Faster cools me down in less than 10 secs


i also have this switch for it on the outlet, so when i want it on i just switch it to on and when i want it off itll be switched to off

ill post pics later when i get home from school *gah 1 more year of hs :\*

i live in texas too, but i dont set the temps that high .... Oh wait now i see that part about the parents Wow they love hot weather i love the icy cold weather more though
