Hey Burn, let me know if it would have been cheaper to just buy the :
2027ER - 2019 Full cnc mill with ER Spindle* for $2355.00

Or if it's cheaper adding all the motors and stuff yourself...

It really depends on what types of motors are being put on, what control board, what software it's willing to interface with, etc...I felt more comfortable saving a bit and putting parts on that I knew would work best with the setup.

Naw, routers aren't built to handle the rigors of milling. They're better suited to wood, plastics, and other non-metal pieces. A mill is able to tackle deep milling operations in copper, steel, aluminum, etc.

Have you checked ebay yet, you might come across a really good deal, even more so when the EBayer is in your area and you can go to their house/shop and make sure it works properly first when you pick it up.

Other than that, I am going to bookmark this page :-)

Thanks! I have/will certainly look on eBay.

Steve @ PMDX reccomended the PMDX-122, which is here: http://www.pmdx.com/PMDX-122/index.html

It's got more features, and it's only $81! Much cheaper than the 120. Also comes with a 10A relay on-board, so I can turn on/off my spindle.

Seems like this one is the way to go

Great news! The motors shipped today. Got an email from UPS stating that a signature is required...I'll have to time being home on next Thursday. According to the Email, it said it'd be there on Thursday, the 28th, but on UPS's tracking page, they haven't posted any movement/delivery date, so I'll assume it's arriving next Thursday

I am liking the PMDX more and more- Steve has been very helpful, and I still have not recieved an email from CandCNC...The PMDX board even has an input for USB so it can steal its power from a USB port! Cool! That solves my 5V PSU problem...The individual servo drivers however require 5V, all the drivers combined would draw 1A max, so I think I am going to wire them from the PC's PSU.
