@ Chipp: You have no idea how hard I worked over the summer and into the fall to get enough money to make this happen.
I belive it man, I belive it.

Wow! Nice manufacturing hardware you have there. I look forward to seeing the products that you turn out on the finished equipment.

What's first on the agenda?

Ahh you making waterblocks eh.......ive worked with millers and lathes for 3 yrs now.......cnc and manuals. I think they are just plain fun. I love working with em. Got me a new job now though which is mainly hand skills rather than machinery. Some impressive stuff there, what kind of tolerances is that thing capable of working to?

I am not certain ATM I guess time will tell, I don't have the instruments necessary to check backlash and such

Backlash is the worst thing ever. But you will learn how to reduce and counter act it as you become familiar with the machine.

You capable of maintaining the machine aswell?

I would love my very own miller, i know someone who has his own lathe and just sits and turns thing whilst he's at home. What a life.....IMO

Maintaining? That is what people with more experience than I have will teach me I will be learning a lot the first month of use/having it.

In-software, you can account for some backlash, but I still have to adjust various things on the mill to reduce it. I'll measure it once I get the right instruments
