BlueJ is good for learning- (it forces you to learn syntax and style conventions on your own)- but it's not as full-featured as an professional environment like eclipse (also free)

My new favorite open source media player for windows: http://www.kantaris.org

The best I've found for playing dvds, although not the best for organizing large amounts of music.

Where is comodo firewall? IMO it's better than zonealarm, and is more nit-picky for us more paranoid users... Includes AV too

Hey I don't see SpywareDoctor Starter Edition.
It's the best and it's now free! =D

I'm sorry if I missed anything, but I strongly suggest it. It's supposedly the best rated of all the anti-spyware.

Here's a utility I've been using for about seven months now called Baku. Baku is a file cleaner and registry cleaner and can compact the registry as well.

Baku:

And here us a wonderful uninstaller called Revo Uninstaller. Gets everything out. Also has a permanent erase tool that worked well enough for Pandora Recovery to be unable to recover things.

and since I mentioned it Pandora, here that is too:

The OP hasn't edited the page in over a year. Do you think someone else could take ownership of this?
