Does anyone use this on a regular basis? If so, what's the best way to convert an AVI to MPEG? In other words what are the best settings.

I've tried it twice now and the resulting file looks worse than the original. I just want to make them playable on a PS3....any tips?

Nice one mate. This will help alot

Mike, the best way would probably to use Windows Movie Maker. Drag the AVI onto the timeline then go File > Export Movie. I believe there's an MPEG setting.

Export it to the highest bitrate/quality available to ensure it looks good on the PS3.

OR, just open up SUPER, change the Output Container to "mpg (MPEG II)" .. and change Output Audio to mp3.

Should do the trick also mate
