9X stands for Windows 95, 98, ME. And we all know that MSN Messenger 8 will not run on Windows 95, in other words, chances are that the file is infected.

Talking

also if the name seems to only just finish before the column extend the column to check that there is nothing extra on the end

i had that once it was reasonably sized and name looked ok

but the guy had checked how long the default column width is and made it so that the extra bit was just off. i mean i didn't even notice the 3 dots u get

Another thing that you can do is right click on the file then go to "Advance" and click on "Check File with Bitzi", it will take you to a page where people comment on the exact file.

That's why I use www.mp3sparks.com IT IS TOTALLY LEGAL and you don't get any spyware what so ever. You don't have to try to be savvy about this and that.

Plus your not getting a "shared" file from Joe blow that might be low quality. You can chose MP3 (up to 320KBP), WMA, OGG, MPEG-4, MPC. And, the songs are dirt cheap. The average album is less than $2.00. Individual songs are like 12 cents. And, they take mastercard.

the best is trying to explain to someone NOT to click the pop that says "your pc may have a virus, click here to...", and they argue with you about it saying something half-wit as "I always click that, it fixes my hard drive. " and clicks it any way. Then proceeds to argue for 5 more minutes.

Ya but you still need some common knowledge when downloading. I see my friends myself who try to download free games off Limewire and they just go with the first 5KB .exe, what the hell?
