Does anyone know how to permanently remove these? registry hack? anything?

I don't have an ipod, so do not need these. even though they don't use up much memory, I want them gone.

I delete the folders/files/rename them, and next time I load itunes, Windows configures it and puts them back.

It's the principle of the whole thing, this rig is MINE!!! (and if there is no way to do it, can anyone recommend a good net radio player to switch to?) preferably open source

how's winamp? no wmp here thank you. It has horrible support for video codecs, so I don't use it for audio either

Have you tried "Start>Run>Type msconfig>Then click Services tab. Uncheck the box next to the ones you want stopped, and restart your pc.

Run "msconfig" and disable it in the startup. You can also disable it in the services tab if you find it there.

I can delete them and they don't show up when I reboot. It's only when I load itunes that they get re-enabled. or reinstalled

I just ran msconfig, and they aren't there. BUt next time I run itunes..VIOLA!!!!!!! (you must have our useless services running to use our software )
