For those of you who use Xfire, here's a problem I'm having. I'll be in a voice chat, or a call with someone. And after a while, I start lagging out REALLY badly to the point that the other person is unable to hear me.
Now this doesn't only happen to me either. It happens to my buddies that I talk to as well. The fix that we've found is....we just exit Xfire, and restart it. It temporarily fixes it. However I'm looking for something a little more permanent. Any suggestions?

unfortunately, your best bet would be to check the xfire forums. i know it is riddled with kiddies and trolls there, but you may be able to find something about it or raise concern of the bug.

I'm not for sure if this will work, but perhaps it will give you an idea, and the possibility that you may have installed, etc incorrectly.

No not that lol, He is having the issue with the chat program Xfire. Anyway to answer the question at hand, You could try to possibly Run it as Admin. Which I'm sure you have probably tried. My only other guess would be that, its not being fully allowed through the firewall. Try going through your firewall preferences and see if anything is blocking the program..

.Another thing I've noticed is that on SOME machines, it will sometimes cause a slowdown in the game (COD4 and FEAR both do it). The framerates still stay just fine, but the game starts lagging like the frames are dropping too low. I know its Xfire causing it, because I'll exit Xfire, and restart it, and the lagging stops. Ugh! I don't really understand this! I've searched the Xfire forums and I've come up with NOTHING! Granted I'm not a very good searcher. But still!!!
