Default Does anyone know of a good free remote desktop tool for XP?

I am looking for something similar to remote desktop for my small network. Obviously, Remote Desktop on XP can connect to a server, but I want to go PC to PC. I tried using VNC (a program that I found) but to no avail. I couldn't establish a connection using XP, only 2000 Server Ed.

Any suggestions?

If there isnt anything for free, is there anything that I could pay for?

VNC server is probably the easiest, I would re-evaluate what you are doing. Remote desktop connection thats installed in windows is fine, just make sure you know how to forward ports and have a strong security policy. My Web Ex PC is good too.

you need to setup a VNC viewer on the computer who is remotely connected to the host. Also unblock all required ports. You can also setup a web-based VNC where the viewer is just your internet browser
