Holy CRAP! Chrome is FAST AS HELL! - Page 3 - Overclock.net

Probably works fast because its all Lite and stuff. Once they start adding stuff to it it will be slower. Also today in my school i was opening overclock.net using EE 6 and man its was slow i mean the PC was lagging. I dl Chrome and man it made the P4 1.8 feel like a core 2 Duo!!!!!!

Hey I am not some sort of browser expert or anything, but Firefox does take EDIT: 50% more RAM (bad experiment!) on my system, so there must be more going on. I'm not saying Chrome will not be the fastest...I guess I'm just saying that we shouldn't assume this speed is here to stay.

I'm using "Chrome" right now as we speak. And personally, its not ANY faster at all to me than FF is. And I am used to using FF. I'll keep it installed, and follow up with it till its fully released. We'll see how it goes. But my first impression is "meh".

i actually don't really like chrome, it's almost like selling your soul to google and you MUST stick with the ugly white color over the bookmarks.

I have a 20Mbps Cable line, I think my download fairs very well thank you very much.

And Macs are still only 10-20% of the market right now. And Mac support is coming.
