which software has the best image quality when playin regular DVDs an has the best HD upscaling engine??
I tried both but I cannot seem to decide, but I have a feelin the WinDVD upscaling seems a bit bwetter, but only prob is WInDVD installs a lot of services an processes in the background compared to PDVD, so I dumped it.

I have been trialing PowerDVD 9 and the upscaling is nice. Brought some new life to my old DVD's. So far it seems ok, accept it gets a little picky when you are loading , like its trying to make up its mind what it wants to do or something.
Win DVD is next, and I may try a couple others before I drop the cash.
I have been looking on the HTPL thread. Check there for other programs.
