Video Encoding/Transcoding App
I need a good transcoder/encoder to convert AVI to MPEG4 for an iPod. I have something that does that.....but there're 30 files I'd like to convert at one time. Anybody know of a good app that can queue them up/convert in batches?

you could use mencoder and write a batch script for it.

Using Videora now. Seems to be working pretty well so far.

Eh. A little buggy. Any program that will convert all files of the same type in a folder automatically? It's really annoying having to reset the settings for every file.

Any Video Converter
100% free, and an awesome program to convert, well anything to anything (as the name implies). Anyways, I love it, and it is very easy to use, and supports multiple cores, so what else can you ask from something that costs you nothing for the full version.

I use this: WinAVI mp4 Converter. Works really well but it isn't free. But is has a nice interface and lots of options.
