So today I updated steam and I decided to play a little TF2. I hopped in and right away the screen was twitchy every which way I had turned and sometimes a little laggy.

I updated my graphics card drivers and still laggy and twitchy. I turned down the graphics in the game and I still have lag. Im about to try L4D and see what happens.

The only other thing I did besides downloading the new steam client update was try to play Unreal Tournament 2 which required me to download directx 11.

Any suggestions or ideas? Should I try to find a way to uninstall directx 11?

not direct x problem as directx is backwards com[atible, and im not sure why it would ask u to dl dx11 cuz there r no games out that utilize dx11 right now. i would double check and see if there r any patches available for tf2, as when i bought UT3 had same problem and dled like 7 patches and all problems fixed...good luck
