So I finally got around to trying Rainmeter to try and understand the hype, and I'll admit I'm a little confused. I've got quite a few questions regarding it, hopefully I can get some help here, and yes I've tried googling.
First of all, is there a way to make the windows taskbar go away so it doesn't come up (it's on autohide now) when I mouse over the area where my Rainmeters bottom bar is, effectively covering it up? Right now I'm just closing explorer.exe and was looking for a little bit more elegant way to do this. Somewhat related to the first question: Is there a way to make what used to be in my windows taskbar appear on the bottom bar or my rainmeter GUI? I'd like to be able to go through them actually integrated into the GUI rather than just docking on the bottom of my screen. This is probably an easier question to answer, the default skin, Enigma I believe it's called comes with the clock under the "arcs" skin that I like, but I can only get clocks displaying in analog while I'd much prefer digital. Those are my big questions at the moment, having recently found a guide on how to make docks with it, so any answers would be appreciated. Oh, and if there's any skins and whatnot you'd suggest to me, please do ![]() Example of the clock/application in general: ![]() And

I'm not even sure it's possible to get your active windows to sit in Rain meters bottom bar, but that's why I'm asking I guess.

No, Rainmeter does not currently have the ability to replace the taskbar in any way. It can not display your active windows or the systray.
