Default DVD ripping software for Snow Leopard?

I've been sifting through Google search results but can't seem to find anything that looks very solid. I'm looking for DVD ripping software. NOT conversion software to convert DVD images to appropriate sizes for iPods and such, apparently the two are mixed up a lot. To be specific, I'm looking for software to literally rip the DVD from the disc itself.

Any ideas?

Again, running Snow Leopard on my Macbook Pro. Just got it, UNIX ftw btw. Also running Windows 7 on it, which is beautiful. I would just rip the DVD in Windows somehow, and then drag the file(s) into the OS10 partition.. but bootcamp doesn't allow for it. However, it does allow for you to access the Windows filesystem from the OS10 side. I'm really trying to avoid annoying procedures such as ripping it in Windows 7, throwing it on a thumb drive, and then transferring it to Snow Leopard. Though I will do what must be done. >_< Look at me.. rambling. Hey look, new emote!

I'm fond of RipIt. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Supported Sources:
  • Any DVD-like source: VIDEO_TS folder, DVD image or real DVD (unencrypted--protection methods including CSS are not supported internally and must be handled externally with third-party software and libraries), and some .VOB and .TS files

The point is to get TS folders from a DVD. Handbrake doesn't do that. It only converts to video formats.

Precisely. Handbrake would come in handy though, thanks for that.

Thanks Sozin.

No problem. I haven't found a movie that RipIt couldn't handle.
