What benchmarking software is used the most to fully test the speed and capabilities of your PC?

Depends on what you want to test. if you want an overall PC score use PCmark.
if you want to know for gaming try 3Dmark

there are tons of others as well. best to use many of them ;-)

Vantage is the most current. it is the only one with DX10 i think.

CPU scores in 3D 05/06 and Vantage will be a great to compare performance with...as mentioned PC Mark is also a great one.

wow i didnt know that 3dmark vantage would only allow one run :| wow wasted my time downloading that.
