so im having a small problem. i download songs from A State of Trance every week. and up until now i can play as well as everything else on windows media player just fine. even past episodes play fine. BUT the last 6 weeks episodes dont play at all in windows player, but they will play in itunes, now i dont use itunes format, except for converting things for my iPhone.

why would these newer episodes play in 1 but not the other? why do all the other 200+ episodes play just fine?

Assuming the new ASoT is encoded with the newer LAME method,i would say thats the problem. Thats my GUESS! Jst dowload cccp and be done with it and play any format right from win media player.

You need a codec pack im using Klite http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multime...dec-Pack.shtml how about using VLC?
