Hey, I need to do a lot of video conversion, and I need to do it in the least amount of time. I have a Q6600 at 3.6GHz, and my 4850x2. What program should I use to take advantage of all the power that my computer can put out? I'm also running windows 7 ultimate.

WinAVI video convertor, i can convert a 700MB avi to dvd format in about 7 minutes, running @ 3.4GHz... It doesn't just convert avi files:

So will that take advantage of everything in my system? That's my ultimate goal. It looks like a great converter though. I'm going to try it out real quick. Any other suggestions are welcome. I saw a review using another converter to make use of a 4800 series card.

If you're comfortable in command line, you can get FFMPEG and write a script.

Coma will be in here eventually telling you not to use any of those.
And he's right in saying so, they're all ****. Better to do it right than fast.
