Default Firefox Beta question.

Hi there OCN.

having an issue with firefox that i would like to sort out. When i open multiple tabs in the browser and hover over the icon in the taskbar in Windows7 it displays all open tabs like so:

I just want it to display the page that is currently in view on the actual browser.

Is this possible with the Beta. (3.6)

That's part of Windows 7, not Firefox. You can right click the Taskbar, choose Properties, and change the option for "Taskbar buttons", but that won't do exactly what you're wanting.

That's a feature of Windows 7. I choose to "Combine When Full" so that I can have my windows on my taskbar.

I've used Windows 7 with Firefox 3.0 and every update up to the Beta. He must have something different on his machine, or a custom configuration because Windows 7 does this by default.

The taskbar will combine and show each of your tabs within the Firefox icon. It's one of the features of Windows 7. It could be possible that he is using an older version before it was officially supported by Windows 7, but every Firefox version I've used has done this.

Ya for FireFox 3.6 beta, it displays all the tabs that are open.
But then again, I rarely use that feature anyways
