I downloaded a modded BIOS for a HP computer I own, and it was a .BIN file, what do I do w/ it? How do I open it? How would I flash my BIOS w/ it?

Find the BIOS flashing utility from your mobo's website and rename the .BIN to .ROM and follow any flashing instructions on the website from where you got the Flash utility.

Its a ECS board(ECS MCP61PM-HM), but its made specifically for HP (Narra2). Theres no flashing utility HP provides.

That could present a problem then, Let Me look into a flash utility for that board, you may be able to use another manufacturer's utility.
You may also find there is no provision for bios flashing due to it being a HP board.

This may help with the situation. Everything you need is in the .rar file. Please do read the thread link post BEFORE you attempt to flash this board. Remember you do this at your own risk, your board could fail. Files Thread Link READ FIRST

Unfortunately that's all I can find pretaining to your exact motherboard, the rest are nettle2 or 3 boards. The flash utility will work for your board though.
