Default How to install Grub 2 onto a USB drive?

Can someone help me with this? Im totally lost, I have no clue what to do lol.

Assuming your USB drive is sdb, and is mounted at usbdrive:

Code:
grub-install --root-directory=~/usbdrive/ /dev/sdb


By the way, you should know that GRUB2 is still a WIP.

lol should i use grub legacy than?

also what would be the command if my usb is the F: drive and is named cruzer?

Oh right, not sure what you'd use on Windows.

And yeah, I'd suggest using GRUB over GRUB2 at this point at least.
