Default Powder Coating Now Available On OCN!!!

Hello OCN Members. Some of you know me and have seen some of the work that I have done. By far, I have not posted all of my work, only what I have done with my personal computer. I am now an Artisan here on OCN and I am starting up my Powder Coating Business. I have been Powder Coating for a few years now and have quite a bit of work under my belt. I was involved in getting a Powder Coating shop opened up north of me and the owner and myself didn’t see eye to eye on how to charge the customer. I believe that the customer should get the lowest price that we can give, he was just worried about his pocket book and bank account.

My first step in this business is this great site! I have had a few of you ask me if I could coat your case and I couldn’t do it cause I was not a vendor. Well, I didn’t know about this beautiful program and now, I can coat everyone’s case. But, I’m not limited to just cases, I can do HDD enclosures, any metal fixtures, and maybe even the hardware on your desk. The only thing that I’m limited by is the item it’s self. It has to be metal and be able to withstand 400*F for about 20minutes or so. If the item that you are thinking about can withstand that temp, and it’s metal, it can be powder coated!

But, don’t let just the computer hardware limit you. If you have a car, I can do just about anything on it. There is high temp coating that goes on headers, I can and have done intakes, valve covers and so on. There is really not a limit other than what was mentioned above on what you can coat.

If you have any questions, please don’t be afraid to ask. I am going to try to be the best and cheapest powder coater out there. I don’t have the massive overhead that the large coaters have and that means cheaper prices for you! Let me know what I can do for you!!!

Edit
Please read the updated Pricing list HERE

Okay guys and gals, here are the pics that I promised. Sorry is took a day to get them but better late than never . If you have any questions about any of them, just ask. And yes, that is a sprint car chassis hanging on the rack. It was bright orange when it came in.

Sounds great. I imagine your pricing will be quoted depending on the item to be coated?

Most of the time it will. Obviously an HDD enclosure will not be near as much as a case. I'm fine tunning the pricing but I think the best way is going to be a price for Small, Med, and Large computer cases and then pricing for smaller items as they come in.

I am out to beat any profestional powder coater out! If you know of a price of mine that is higher than someone elses, let me know and give me a link and I will see what I can do.

If it is not painted (aftermarket), then it's $105. If it's painted or coated, then there will be a $50+ stripping charge. Because these cases are made with sheet metal, you have to use paint stripper to take off any of the paint to keep from warping the metal. I found out on my wifes computer that you can not do that with the large flat panel.

If only my Antec 1200 was full steel and didn't have plastic parts...I'd be all over this.

Thanks Robilar! I accept items from anyone, but the shipping to and from anywhere outside the US can get quite high.

Awesome!

If the inside of my case wasn't already done, I'd jump on it

I'll keep this in mind if I need something done
