Oblivion.sky's Case Coating Thread - Overclock.net

What up everyone. I thought that I would post up and show off the newest work that is just about complete. The case belongs to Oblivion.Sky and will house a dual loop W/C setup. This thing will be sick when it's done. The Colors are Super Mirror Black and Super Mirror red with the hardware done in Gold translucent. The case is not complete yet cause there is a little "Custom" surprise that will be going on this case tomorrow if I can get it built in time. I think you all will like it when I'm done

This is what I got when I took it all out of the package. Holy crap is the JT07 huge lol.

So now, it's time to get busy on a little coating. Here are the before and afters of the gold hardware that you saw scattered above lol. And yes, I drilled holes in a 2x4 and stuck all of the screws in there. Didn't have a problem one with attraction of the powder.

More in the next thread, don't have enough room cause of pic limitations lol.

Okay, now I started on the red. I don't have any "in probress" pics, but I have the finished pics and that is what matters

Then I did the black parts. I didn't get any pics of these by them selvs, but I did have a minor messup and this is the result after stripping lol.

Okay, so I couldn't let this case go without getting some decent shots outside. So, without the rear support bars, I stuck on the doors and went outside. Friggin clouds, I'm getting tired of them lol.

so I get done and I'm about ready to start wrapping up parts in foam and I just couldn't resist. The looks of this case was just too much not to put it together. So, out comes the screw driver and I start putting it together. Man, I can't wait to make this panel for this thing

So, let us know what you think about the case. I will be posting more pics tomorrow when I get the drive brackets and the front drive covers done. As well as the custom front panel
