Yeah, shipping would be the same either way weather you powder coat or anodize. The good thing about this (this is what I thought of when it was brought up to me) is that only the inside of the computer would need anodizing. The outside of most high end cases are already anodized.

Now, say you get a used silver TJ07 adn you want it black, then you would need a full case done. But, that will require stripping of the old anodizing.

I support this venture, unfortunately I can not contribute to this venture, but it is pure win! none the less.

I love my case (Soldam) and all of them are anodized on the interior/exterior....

I think that if the price is right, it can be a great service.

I love anodizing, its a very attractive coating, and more durable than anything you can spray out of a can. Its too bad my budget loves krylon, but some of you users out there with a few more $$$ in your pocket should seriously consider it. A colorful metallic is very striking under neon lighting, a lot of car buffs use it in their engine compartments on aluminum manifolds, covers, ect...

Is the process any different for, say, magnesium TDN?

I have a laptop on the way with a magnesium outer shell... I'm sure I could get the exterior panels off.

I'm not sure about that. I will check into it though and the process that it has to go through.

Anodized cases look amazing. If you offer that service in the future I may get the interior of my FC700 anodized in red or blue.
