hmmm, I have tried the airplane stripper and it does not even phase The HAF 932's black finish, I will be going to the hardware store to look for a chemical soak of some kind. This case is starting to annoy me..

No need to strip it man, the sandblasting will blast any paint off anyways. Now, if the HAF is anodized, which I doubt, it might be harder for them to remove, that sometimes requires acid.

can this Acid be purchased at a store? My local powder coater says he cant sandblast the case because he will ruin it.

rent a sander and rough the case up with the grit then paint it it with primer than your powder coat, easiest way. You can sand paint off, its the most effective, though longer and more messy and you have to know what your doing

if it is anodized, soak it in caustic soda (id drano) for a few seconds until the anodizing is off. it WILL eat the case if you leave it in there to long. do it outside as it will create a large amount of hydrogen.
