I'm a little new to case mod competitions, and case mods in general. But does it go against the rules to have your case powder coated by someone else?

I believe some of the contestants in the past have sent out parts to be powder coated. As long as you're personally doing the majority of the modding work it should be fine.

Ok, cool. I wish I could powder coat my self, but I dont think my parents would approve. The external painting, window install, handle installaiton, and fan installation mod will be done by me though.

Should be OK; last year there was one contestant who installed a mini-ITX system into the shell of a linksys router.

I think I FUBARed a little. I started my thread in the documentation area thinking I could keep coming back to it to update as I went. I cannot see my own thread, so I now assume you should put it all in one shot?? If so, a mod can delete my FUBAR and I will post a complete log when the mods are finished...
sorry
NOOB!!!!

You should be able to see/update your thread. I can't even see your thread, so it probably got kicked into the moderation que; if you PM Chipp about it he'll take care of it
