PS - on a lighter note, My friends who lives in Iowa and has never been to AZ had his Debit card # haxed by someone in tucson. They spent $1100 of his, at a walmart somewhere around there, but luckily his bank gave him $$ to compinsate, he's a poor college kid like myself. just thught of that when I saw you're in tucson.

I was gunna start a thread about this massive WU I got on my laptop, centrino 1.8...looked to be about 60 hours,

A screenshot of my current farm is gunna be included anyway, since I made it and everything..

I'd love to get more of those 600+ point WU's (imagine four machines, slowest benig a p4-m 1.8 .. all doing 600's, lol)

Anywho I just take what im given for now - unfortunately, my PD 940 (same CPU as yours Cowboy.. ) gets these 150 points WU's, making about 200~ points a day each, I wonder if these are more important to Stanfords research..or they are the 'advanced method' cores? or large 5mb+ cores..

As to my post. It was in response to cowboys's comments and concerns. I was sharing my recent experiences as an example of how some of the Stanford servers work. I'll be the first to tell you that I don't know how the WU's are allocated, or what they are based on (servers, benchmarking, etc) and btw don't really care. However, if points are what folks are looking for, then the Stanford site might be one place to start.

As for your comments. I agree with you, but others may not share your views, in total. It's what ever floats "their" boats I say...

I fold because it's a good cause, some results have been forthcoming and when I really get frustrated keeping 6 rigs folding 24/7 and the expense incurred thereof (electricity, parts, maintenance, etc) I think of this forum, Team 37726 and my team - Folders Inc.

I hope this explains my position better, :-)

That comment was not directed at you...I just hit the quote botton instead to typing it in quick reply...Sorry for the confusion..My point was directed to everyone as a general comment.
