ok i'm now folding for the cure and i have a question, i downloaded the newest version and i did all the yes no Q's and i typed in my overclock username and our team number and it all seemed t ogo good now it says well just look at the pic.....................or not because it says it exeeds the size becaue i just hit prnt screen and then paste in paint but yeah can't do it Woot for me but anyways it syas loading quece sucseffly and then just a littl _ blinking under neath it doing nothing, is that normal?

If nothig happens after a while try closing the console and reopening it. That usually joggles it into doing somehting constructive...I have had a lot of hangs_Waitingbeforeretry etc) which is prolly just the Stanford Server.

When you print screen...save it as a jpeg...that way it won't be to big. Try it again and post the pic and lets see what we can figure out.

You can also check your log file fahlog in your console directory. But yes its normal it sometimes just takes time to get going. Also download a monitoring tool like EM3 this will let you monitor the console progress.

If it doesnt kick in after 20 minutes do as druid suggested and teminate and restart.

hmmm this is giving me some problems again now it is stuck at completed 0 steps out of 400000 and it sitting there, before it was going saying so many bytes downloaded and such well i would post a pic but it says **** UPLOAD OF FILE FAILED*** again well yeah it just is sitting there again

It sounds like it is running fine. It will take a while to do each section. If it has 400000 steps it is probably going to register 4000 at a time. Let it run for a while and it should say completed 1 of 100 steps soon.

I agree with Busa and you really should download EM3 (Electron Microcope III) this will allow you to monitor each frames progress.
