Does this VmWare run in Windows and then the virtual OS is Linux, within Windows?

I'm a little confused on how this works, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am fresh to folding and I want to get my setup rockin'

Yes, you run the VMWare client in Windows. The VMWare client then runs the virtual OS, in this case SUSE which acts just like a real one.

is there any reason i shouldnt use version 1.0.8 ?

or should i be using ver 2?

I'm getting a 404 error every time I try to Dl the SMP in Konsole. Can someone help?

I tried to set it up with windows XP Pro, the original test passed, and the VMware says it won't work now...
