Default F@H: Running as a Service

I'm using this rig to fold for OCN. I had a WU that was about 50% done, but i had to reinstall windows today. I saved all my work and can run the program, however, it is not registered in windows as a service. My question is how can i re-register F@H as a service in windows so i don't have to see the console?

Thanks.

Run it from a dos prompt again with the following switch.

FAH504-Console -configonly

If it thinks it is installed as a service, tell it not to be. Then run it again with the -configonly command and tell it to install as a service.

Another option is to delete the client.cfg file in your folding directory. Then when when you run your folding client, you can set up all your settings again.

Either way should not delete your current work.

The option to run as a service is there, but it does not work. It says so somewhere on the F@H site too.

I assumed he was running a single core rather than a SMP client. The SMP service is definately bugged, but the single core service runs great on quite a few on my machines.
