So, say you leave your dual core rig folding away during the day while at work and at night when sleeping like I do..
I've found that if I use the console client (less resources being used than graphical), run two instances, then set the affinity in Task Manager for one instance to CPU 0 and the other to CPU 1, I can get decently faster folding results. It works even better if you set the F@H in-program priority higher than normal. Try it out for a day and let me know if it speeds up your work progress. EDIT: BTW, I've noticed the two separate console clients can't be run from the same exact executable. Making a copy worked fine for me. Another thing, not sure if this an violation of agreement. Let me know if it is. More on this, straight from F@H website and using a alternative method: Quote:

If you change the Machine ID's, it theoretically does this for you.

This is the pre-SMP way of doing it

It works, just requires a dual core. I tried it on my HT and it dropped performance by 25% or so.
