^ what Nitteo said. It would seem that cancer and other illnesses have an effect on almost everyone. Before my mom was diagnosed last year I had nobody close to me with cancer, so I could not connect with most who have family members sick. Its one of those things you can't understand until you've been through or known someone close who goes through it.

Everyone who has had a doctor tell them they have a illness like cancer are much braver in my books than anyone else. And then to go through treatment knowing how rough things may be is even more admirable.

It is a shame that we have to raise money for cancer research when so much money is spent on other things. F@H is a way for me to help out, little as it may seem. Wish the worlds governments would contribute more toward research.

Like most everyone here, I fold for those with cancer or other diseases that Stanford is trying to find a cure/make a breakthrough in treatments. Also, I dont know what the future holds. Cancer can hit anyone at any time, I hope that someone else would do the same that I do now. If my mom, dad, my unborn sister (2 months!), or I am diagnosed, we may have a better chance than if we left our rigs idle until we needed to game or wack off (thanks for that quote CD ).

Alzheimer's runs in my wife's family; her grandmother died of it. She also has an autoimmune disorder we're still figuring out.

My mother went through breast cancer, and had a mastectomy to get clean margins.

And finally, am I the only selfish prick? 1yr and 2 months out from Testicular Cancer.
